Sorry the blog hasn’t been updated in a LONG time… As everyone’s been busy building the Log house and our last two video’s didn’t turn out very well so this time I’ve decided to take some pictures and show off our progress! So without further ado… Enjoy!

So this is the future site of the bar… If you would like to see the bigger pictures just click on any of the images and they will enlarge.

So Mom has gone through and ‘leathered’ some of the walls that have been sheet-rocked this is what it looks like as she’s starting the project.

The Stone fireplace is about 90% completed now and should be done by next week.

This is the Breakfast nook that is almost done - It will have a table made of the 9 types of wood used in the building of the house and two benches.

Here’s some custom work that took Jeff 2 days to complete! Jeff works fast so taking two days for some inlaid African Purple Heart really slowed him down. However it looks AMAZING! The picture doesn’t quite do it justice…

Here’s a wider shot of the dining room where you can see the two leathered walls. Very nice…

So here’s what the house looks like from the road…

And here’s the view from the driveway… those dormers are going to be finished this week with half log siding…

Here’s the Game Room from the bar below…

The Kitchen is coming along… only about 80% completed but should also be completed this week!

Here’s the entrance to the Master Bedroom… I didn’t use any of the master bathroom pictures as it’s not far enough along to show anything cool…

We’ll have another video up soon… the Move in date is only 2 weeks away and everyone is scrambling! And for those of you keeping track… we’re 11 months into the build.

Well as you can see things are getting done in short order! The video below is approximately 3 months into the building process… with very few guys (2-3) on weekends and this week we have a work party! The new concrete stamp work is pretty impressive! Check it out!
